Ginger and mint lemonade/ shikanji is a cool and refreshing drink to beat the summer heat or have it with snacks or meals. You can also drink this mix when you body needs a healthy cleanse or to boost your digestion.

- 3-4 tbsp of fine sugar
- 20-25 crushed mint leaves
- 3-4 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp of ginger juice(ginger grated and squeezed)
- 1/2 tsp of chaat masala
- 1/2 cup of chilled soda
- 1 1/2 cups of chilled water
- some ice cubes (optional)
For garnishing:
- 2 thin slices of lemon circles with a small slit
- few whole mint leaves
- Take sugar in a bowl or a jug
- Mix crushed mint leaves and ginger juice
- Add lemon juice
- Add chaat masala and mix well.
- Pour chilled water and soda and garnish it with lemon rings and mint leaves.
- The ginger mint lemonade is ready to go.
- The quantity of each ingredient can be varied according to individual's taste.
- Chilled soda can be replaced by chilled water.
- You can strain it to remove crushed mint leaves or have it with them.
