Moong dal cheela / green mung beans pancake

..

Moong dal cheela is our all-time favourite. My family is always ready to eat them. We usually prefer it in breakfast but it can be eaten in any meal of the day. It is so tasty and healthy that I feel happy and satisfied preparing for my family.
Green Mung Beans are Nutritional Powerhouses. They are -
• Good source of protein
• Good source of dietary fiber (helps to lower cholesterol, prevents constipation and keeps you feeling full) Containing oligosaccharides to prevent gas and bloating, unlike other beans
• Low in sodium
• Low in cholesterol
• Mung Beans are low on the glycemic index making them a smart food choice for diabetics. Diabetics can safely eat Green Mung Beans. The low glycemic index, fiber and protein help to regulate blood sugar.
• They also contain skin anti-aging properties that stimulate the production of hyaluronic acid, collagen, and elastin, all essential to younger healthier skin.

9. It taste amazing with green coriander and mint chutney. See the green chutney recipe in accompaniments.
